Portsmouth’s ORIGINAL Premiere Destination for Comic Books and Graphic Novels.

Long before Room 237 became the best comic book store in Portsmouth, I owned a more traditional comic book store, called Atomica. It was open for many years until it fell victim to the recession and had to close.

I have many fond memories of the old store and made some life long friends along the way. It really was a blast (and a whole lot of work) and will always, in many a heart, still have an open door, ready for a hot cuppa and a chat. In fact, I had so much fun with Atomica, it led to the realisation I wanted to forge a career as a professional comic book writer and prompted me to put pen to paper.

Naturally, I designed the logo, posters and all the promotional materials for the store.
